Central contracts of national cricketers delayed, central contract period expired today, PCB did not offer new central contracts to national cricketers.
According to sources, due to lack of permanent chairman in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), central contract could not be offered.
The day-to-day affairs of PCB are being run by Acting Chairman and Election Commissioner Ahmed Farooq Shahzad Rana.
Sources say that the term of the PCB management committee has ended last week, the election of the chairman board was scheduled for July 27, which has been put on hold due to the court order.
Despite the delay in the offer of the central contract to the cricketers, they will get it from July 1.
