The Saudi Ministry of Health has said that the health status of the Hajj pilgrims is satisfactory and they do not have any symptoms of an epidemic or a threat to public health.
Speaking at a press conference, the spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Ali, appealed to the Hajj pilgrims to avoid going out in the sun to avoid the heat.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdul Ali said that the pilgrims should drink a lot of water to protect the body from dehydration.
He said that as soon as the pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia by land, sea and air routes, the health check starts.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdul Ali said that there are 190 ambulances at 16 locations, especially the Emergency Medical Center at Jamrat Bridge in Mina has ensured a large number of ambulances.
The spokesperson said that if the facilities provided by other organizations are taken into consideration, the number of ambulances available to serve the pilgrims reaches 247.
