Defeated Pakistan in the semi-finals of the Emerging Women's Asia Cup

In the semi-final of the Emerging Women’s Asia Cup, Bangladesh A defeated Pakistan by 6 runs, the Pakistan team could not even make an easy target of 60 runs.

Due to rain and inclement weather, the semi-final played between Pakistan Emerging and Bangladesh was restricted to 9 overs.

The Bangladeshi team won the toss and batted first and scored 59 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 9 overs.

At one point Bangladesh were 6 wickets down for just 16 runs but Naheeda Akhtar and Rabia Khan added a valuable 37 runs in the seventh wicket partnership, Naheeda Akhtar scoring 21 runs.

For Pakistan, Fatima Sana dismissed 3 players and Anushe Nasir dismissed 2 players.

In Pakistan Emerging’s innings, Iman Fatima and Shawal Zulfikar provided a 26-run opening in four overs, then Pakistan’s 4 wickets fell for 21 runs.

Bangladesh will face India A in the final on Wednesday. The first semi-final between India A and Sri Lanka was not possible due to a wet outfield, as India A finished first in their group. So he made it to the finals.
