The Election Commission ordered Fawad Chaudhry to appear in person at the next hearing
Islamabad: Important progress has been made in the case of threatening the Election Commission. The District and Sessions Court fixed the date for indictment of Fawad Chaudhry.
The Election Commission threats case was heard in the court. Fawad Chaudhry appeared in the court.
Additional and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra ordered Fawad Chaudhry to ensure his attendance at the next hearing and said that Fawad Chaudhry will be charged on June 24.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 24.
It should be noted that Fawad Chaudhry is accused of threatening the families of the Chief Election Commissioner and other officials of the Commission. In the same case, he was arrested from Lahore on January 25, but on February 1, the court approved his bail and ordered his release.
