The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has started efforts for international matches for the national women’s football team in next month’s FIFA window.
PFF sources said that Pakistan is in touch with Kyrgyzstan and Mauritius for women’s football matches so that international matches can be held for women footballers in the window of July 10 to 18.
There is also a proposal for a four-nation football tournament in Mauritius, but no final decision has been taken on it, while talks are ongoing to hold two friendlies in Kyrgyzstan.
Sources said that to prepare for these matches, Pakistan Football Federation is starting a training camp for national women footballers from June 18, in which potential players will be called for these matches.
