Federal Minister IT Aminul Haq has issued instructions to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority in view of heavy rains.
In his statement, the federal minister said that Pakistan Telecom has been asked to keep the tower and broadband facility running.
Apart from this, Syed Aminul Haque made emergency contacts with the relevant authorities in view of the possible storm in Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal and discussed the measures in the areas likely to be affected by the storm including Karachi, Thatta, Sajawal, Ibrahim Haidari, Mubarak Village.
The federal minister also contacted Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah by telephone and offered him all possible support from his ministry.
