Former Indian star batsman Sachin Tendulkar has criticized the Indian team for losing the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship.
In a statement released on social networking site Twitter, Sachin Tendulkar expressed his surprise at the exclusion of senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin from the playing XI for the final of the World Test Championship.
He said Ashwin is the number one Test bowler in the world and spinners like him don’t need favorable conditions, Australia had 5 left-handed batsmen.
Sachin Tendulkar says that the Indian team should have batted well in the first innings which they could not do.
The former Indian player also congratulated the Australian team for winning the World Test Championship in his tweet.
It should be noted that the Australian team has won the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Test Championship by defeating India by 209 runs in the final match played at the Oval Cricket Ground in London.
