Test Championship final, Australia set India a target of 444 runs

Australia set a target of 444 runs to India in the final of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Championship.

In the final of the Test Championship being played at the historic Oval Ground in England, Australia declared the second innings 270 runs for 8 out.

On the fourth day of the final, Australia started the second innings at 123 for 4, Alex Kerre remained unbeaten with 66 runs, while Mitchell Stock and Marnos Labushin scored 41 and 41 runs.

Yesterday, Steve Smith scored 34, Cameron Green 25 and Usman Khawaja returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 runs.

For India, Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.

The Indian team was bundled out for 296 runs in the first innings yesterday.
