Australia bowled out for 469 runs in the first innings

In the first innings of the final of the World Test Championship, the Australian team was all out by scoring 469 runs.

On the second day of this match being played at the Oval, Australia started the game at the loss of 327 runs and 3 wickets, then Steve Smith completed his 31st century of his career.

Australia’s first batsman to get out today was Travis Head who returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 163 runs. Indian bowler Muhammad Siraj broke this partnership of 285 runs by dismissing Travis Head for a total of 361.

As soon as Travis Head got out, the rest of Australia’s wickets began to fall.

Steve Smith returned to the pavilion with 121 runs, Cameron Greene 6, Mitchell Starc 5 while Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon played 9 and 9 respectively and Scott Boland scored a run.

Batting with the tail-enders, Alex Carey played a brilliant innings of 48 runs to take the team’s score to 469 runs in the first innings of the Test Championship final.

On behalf of India, Mohammad Siraj dismissed 4 players while Mohammad Shami and Shirdal Thakur took two wickets each and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket.
