A scuffle broke out between supporters of two political parties at the Kotera Mast polling station of LA-15 Bagh-2 constituency of the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly, due to which the polling process was stopped.
Additional police force has reached Kotera Mast polling station.
It should be noted that the by-election in LA 15 Bagh 2 is being held on the vacant seat due to the disqualification of former Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas in a court decision.
18 candidates are participating in the by-election in the constituency, a tough competition is expected between Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s Colonel Zameer, PPP’s Zia Qamar and Muslim League-N’s Mushtaq Minhas.
The total number of votes in the constituency is one lakh one thousand 145, in which the number of male votes is 53 thousand 107 and the number of female votes is 48 thousand 38.
