Two people died and one was rescued alive due to toxic gas filling during sewer cleaning in Wahwa sub-tehsil of Taunsa.
According to the rescue sources, the residents of the area were cleaning the drains with their help for drainage in Wahwa.
Poisonous gas accumulated in the depth of the sewer from which the two laborers working inside Muhammad Usama and Muhammad Tahir died while Ashiq Hussain was pulled out alive.
The rescue team shifted the dead bodies to Taunsa Hospital.
