After 7 years of closure, Iran has officially opened its embassy in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
On this occasion, a grand ceremony was held at the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, which started with a ribbon cutting.
On this occasion, the special representatives and high officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia and Iran, along with the designated Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ali Reza Inayati, and foreign ambassadors posted in Riyadh also participated.
It should be remembered that diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia were severed for 7 years. However, with the mediation of China, relations between Riyadh and Tehran have been restored this year.
