In the Supreme Court, objections were raised on the petition of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) against the trial under the Army Act.
The Registrar’s Office of the Supreme Court returned the petition of Chairman PTI with objections.
The Registrar’s Office objected that the petitioner did not approach the relevant forum, the petitioner did not state which fundamental rights were violated.
The Registrar’s Office objected that the reasons for exercising the power of Article 184 III were not specified.
It was also objected to the application that under Article 248, Prime Minister, Chief Ministers cannot be made parties.
According to the Registrar’s Office Supreme Court, more than one request was made in one application.
It should be noted that Chairman PTI had requested to form a judicial commission on the trial of civilians under the Army Act.
