Guidelines for the treatment of gastrointestinal bacterial eradication have been issued in Pakistan.
Bacterial treatment guidelines are issued by PGLDS and Infectious Disease Society of Pakistan.
The treatment guidelines were released on the last day of the PGLDS annual conference.
In this regard, Dr. Lubna Kamani has said that Helicobacter pylori bacteria is present in the stomach of more than 70 percent of Pakistanis.
He said that this disease can be avoided by administering hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours of birth.
Dr. Lubna Kamani has told that the treatment of Helicobacter pylori is quite difficult and expensive.
He also says that most of the female patients hesitate to get treatment from a male doctor, so they are also training female doctors to treat gastrointestinal diseases.
