On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day in Brussels, capital of Belgium, candles will be lit tomorrow at 4 pm to express sympathy and solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris.
The program will be organized by the Kashmir Council of the European Union at the European Square in front of the Brussels Central Station.
During this time, a BBC documentary about violence against Muslims in India and Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir will also be shown.
The film also talks about police violence during the implementation of the controversial Citizenship Act in 2019.
This documentary questions India’s democratic system under Narendra Modi’s government and the division of India on the basis of religion.
In this documentary, the rights violations of Kashmiris are also highlighted.
During the Kashmir Solidarity Day program at Central Station Brussels, some other videos about Indian atrocities on Kashmiris will also be shown on the big screen.
Organizer of the program and chairman of Kashmir Council EU, Ali Raza Syed said that we will continue to support the freedom struggle of Kashmir until a logical and fair solution to the Kashmir issue and continue to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir.
He demanded that a plebiscite be held in Jammu and Kashmir through the United Nations in which the Kashmiri people can decide their own future by participating.
He further said that the Kashmiri people are peacefully struggling for their right to self-determination and India is inflicting violence and atrocities on the Kashmiri people in Occupied Kashmir through its army.
He said that the presence of 8 lakh troops and black laws in Occupied Kashmir is a proof that India has kept the Kashmiris under serious pressure, but the freedom movement of Kashmiris is being suppressed by India’s tactics like atrocities and violence and black laws. cannot be stopped, this struggle will continue till its logical end.
