Former fast bowler Mohammad Amir says that I have no personal enmity with Babar Azam.
Mohammad Amir is often criticized for his views on captain Babar Azam’s performance in the T20 format.
The former fast bowler recently appeared as a guest on Geo News’ program ‘Hansna Muni Hai’.
Tabish Hashmi, the host of this show, once again asked him that, “Most people think that you and Babar Azam don’t get along, so what do you say about it?”
Muhammad Aamir said in response to this question that those who say that I do not like Babar, then my answer is that I have broken some engagement with Babar so that he dislikes me.
He said that Babar and I have played together for 5 years, I have never had any quarrel with him, we had a good relationship, but he is a junior, so he has always respected me.
He added that I think everyone can have a different view, so if my view is different from someone’s view, it doesn’t mean that I don’t like it.
Mohammad Amir said that I have always said that he is the best batsman in Tests and ODIs but I have a different opinion about him in T20 because maybe as a bowler I don’t find it difficult to bowl Babar.
He said that if someone gives a wrong color to this statement, I pray for him that Allah guides him.
He concluded by saying that I am not against Babar, but like I always say that Virat Kohli is the best batsman of this generation, Babar Azam is the best batsman of this era of Pakistan cricket.
