IMF directive to reduce PIA deficit

Islamabad: The IMF directed measures to reduce PIA’s deficit and increase revenue.

According to Express News, the IMF has instructed the government to take several steps to reform the PIA.

IMF has directed to prepare a plan to reduce the deficit of PIA and make it profitable and has asked that the PIA management should take concrete steps to reduce the deficit. Make control measures possible.

Sources of PIA have said that the total deficit of PIA is more than 400 billion rupees, IMF has directed to improve PIA by increasing its income.
