The sailing competition of the 34th National Games has been completed in Karachi, in these competitions held at the Open Sea and PAF Yacht Club, the Navy won 9 gold medals in the sailing event.
The National Games Sailing saw 13 different categories of competition, held at the PAAF Yacht Club along the seafront in Karachi, with athletes from the Navy in attendance.
Navy sailors won all 7 gold medals in the first phase, while in the second phase they won 9 out of 13 gold medals in 9 out of 13 categories and proved their supremacy in sailing. Navy also bagged 2 bronze medals.
KP and Pakistan Air Force were joint second. Both won 2, 2 gold medals, 4, 4 silver and 2, 2 bronze medals.
Army got 3 silver and 4 bronze, Sindh got 1 silver and 2 bronze, Punjab got 1 silver medal while Balochistan got 1 bronze medal in sailing events.
