Salalah: Pakistan won the second consecutive match in the ongoing Junior Asia Cup hockey tournament in Salalah, Oman.

According to Express News, in the second match of Pool A of the event, the national junior team defeated Thailand by 9 goals in a one-sided match.

On behalf of Pakistan, Abdul Rahman scored 5 goals, while Abdul Hanan Shahid, Abdul Wahab, Arbaaz Ahmed and Murtaza Yaqub scored 1, 1 times, Abdul Rahman was declared the player of the match.

Pakistan defeated Chinese Taipei by 15 goals to 1 in their first match.

Pakistan will play their third match against arch-rivals India on May 27, while they will face Japan in the final pool match on May 29.
