Recommendations on the development budget for the next 4 months in Punjab have been submitted to the caretaker government.
According to sources, recommendations have been made to allocate 330 billion for the development budget of 4 months in the next financial year.
30 billion has been proposed for the ongoing projects with foreign funding.
The size of the development budget for the year 23-24 is estimated to be Rs 834 billion.
It is proposed to allocate 28 billion for school education and 10 billion for higher education.
Sources say that it is proposed to allocate one billion rupees for development projects for special education and 70 billion rupees for health budget in 4 months.
12 billion for urban development, 13 billion for agricultural development, 4 out of 7 billion for clean water and sewage disposal schemes.
It is proposed to allocate 6 billion rupees for transport and 1.5 billion rupees for emergency services.
