India is ready to accept Pakistan’s hybrid model for Asia Cup hosted by Pakistan.
According to Indian media, the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) will conditionally accept the hybrid model.
In this regard, foreign media say that Pakistan must give a written assurance to participate in the World Cup.
According to reports, under the hybrid model, India will play the Asia Cup matches at neutral venues, which could be United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka.
According to reports, the BCCI will make an official announcement in this regard after the May 27 meeting and the Asian Cricket Council will announce the schedule of the Asia Cup after India’s decision.
It should be noted that after Indian resistance, Pakistan had announced not to participate in the World Cup, which is to be played in India this year.
