The Hague: Moscow has issued an arrest warrant for the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
According to Russian media, the ICC prosecutor prepared a warrant for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin on charges of war crimes in March, after which Moscow issued a warrant for the prosecutor’s arrest.
The Hague-based war crimes court prosecutor Karim Khan has been added to the Ministry of Interior’s wanted list, Russia’s state-run news agency TASS reported, citing the ministry’s database.
According to news reports, the photo of the ICC prosecutor with British citizenship can be found in the database of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
