Dehydration in the body is common in summer, sweat is released from the body faster and more frequently than in normal days, sometimes we forget to drink adequate amount of water in our daily activities.
Especially when the weather is hot, the risk of dehydration increases a lot. Due to the lack of water in the body, the salts in the body begin to decrease.
According to nutritionists, the total amount of water in a woman’s body is 38 to 45 liters while in a man’s body it is 42 to 48 liters. If these salts begin to decrease from their prescribed amount, then the balance of the whole body starts to deteriorate and the person becomes sick.
Although it is not easy to keep the body hydrated, this situation can be controlled through many foods and adequate water intake.
Let’s find out which are the standard drinks, everyday items and methods, by which the body can be hydrated.
Avoid fried and sweet foods
Dehydration in the body can be compensated by consuming good and proper food. First make sure to avoid fried and sweet foods in your daily routine. Instead, consume foods that are rich in water. For example, watermelon, garma and melon remove dehydration in the body.
The potassium and vitamins present in these fruits restore energy by eliminating salt deficiency in the body. Similarly, green vegetables also help in maintaining the water level in the human body.
cucumber
Cucumber contains the highest amount of water. If cucumber is eaten as a salad, it keeps water in the cells of the body. Regular consumption of cucumber in summer not only keeps the water level in the body balanced but is also good for the skin.
Drink coconut water
Coconut water is also best consumed in summer. It is rich in natural ingredients and contains a certain amount of salt, which restores energy. Coconut water is an excellent and delicious drink, however it is less in quantity, so fresh water can be added to increase its quantity.
Raw Lassi
Nutritionists recommend consuming raw lassi in summer. Drinking raw lassi relieves heat, it is a salt-depleting drink, which also relieves sleepiness caused by low blood pressure or heat. Cold, salty, raw lassi not only keeps digestion healthy, but also protects against the harmful effects of hot air or cold.
Yogurt
Rich in protein and other nutrients, yogurt not only curbs your appetite and helps keep you away from salty, high-calorie foods. It also contains probiotics, which keep your digestive system healthy.
Yogurt helps increase the amount of beneficial bacteria for gastrointestinal health. The use of curd reduces the heat of the stomach while the digestive system and other organs are also active.
Falsa
Consuming false is also great for keeping the body hydrated. False syrup is helpful in preventing heat stroke in hot weather and is also good for digestion, which cools the body and removes dehydration in the body.
Daily bath
Another way to keep the body hydrated is to take a daily bath, but if you come out of the sun, avoid taking a bath right away, this will help keep you hydrated and refreshed.
Also, use more water in summer, at least two to three liters of water per day is better, and avoid cold drinks and non-standard juices.
