In Saudi Arabia, the Control and Anti-Corruption Commission arrested 2 officers of the General Court red-handed on charges of taking bribes in Jeddah.
According to the Arab media, the Anti-Corruption Commission has said in this regard that Ayman Abdul Razzaq Muhammad Salwati was arrested red-handed while accepting a bribe of two and a half million riyals.
According to foreign media, Ayman Abdul Razzaq is a 6th grade employee in Jeddah General Court, who accepted 500,000 Riyals as a bribe from a local citizen to process the case in the Court of Appeal and overturn the court decision.
According to reports, a fine of 73 lakh 17 thousand riyals was imposed on the local citizen by the court.
The Anti-Corruption Commission has further said that Director of the Jeddah General Court Office, Ali Muhammad Ahmed Al-Duqi, has also been arrested in the bribery case.
