Three out of four sexual assault charges against Sri Lankan cricketer Danishka Guna Thilaka have been dropped.
Danishka Guna Thilaka’s rape case was heard in Sydney court.
According to Australian media, the public prosecutor has withdrawn three charges.
The case will be heard on July 13, the cricketer has been on bail these days.
The cricketer was arrested on four charges of rape during the T20 World Cup last year.
The police had alleged that the cricketer had threatened the woman’s life.
Danishka Guna Thilaka’s lawyer had also submitted an application in the court for delay in the hearing of the case.
