A proposal to hold the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) outside Pakistan has come forward.
The PSL Governing Council meeting was held in Lahore under the chairmanship of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Najam Sethi.
According to the sources, in the meeting, it was suggested to hold PSL matches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting, some PSL franchises opposed the proposal to take the matches of the event outside Pakistan.

During the meeting, the board took a stand that the number of spectators to watch PSL matches in Pakistan is very low and the expenses are also very high.
The board’s position was that every time there is a lot of expenditure on security issues, not many foreign players come to play in Pakistan.
According to the sources, Chairman Najam Sethi proposed to review after the objection of the franchise in the meeting.
