An emergency situation arose in a domestic flight of Iran Air, but the plane landed safely at Shiraz International Airport.
According to aviation sources, Iran Air’s ATR 72-600 aircraft took off from Lamard International Airport at 11:11 on Tuesday morning to return to Shiraz as usual.
24 minutes after departure, the aircraft was en route to the destination when the radar received an emergency signal from an ATR aircraft.
However, on the instructions of the air traffic controller, the pilot continued the flight to the destination as there was no other airport in the vicinity.
Emergency measures were taken at Shiraz International Airport, but the plane landed safely 46 minutes after departure.
