The accused who extorted crores of rupees by pretending to send citizens abroad was arrested

Lahore: FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Cell arrested a human trafficker who was defrauding citizens in the name of visa.

According to FIA, the accused extorted crores of rupees from ordinary citizens on the pretense of employment abroad, the accused was receiving Rs 30-25 lakh from citizens in the name of employment in Canada.

Accused Mohammad Ashraf was arrested from Lahore on the identification of the previously arrested off-load accused, several passports, fake Canadian visa stickers, identity cards and educational certificates were recovered from the possession of the accused, investigation has been started against the accused.

Director FIA Lahore Zone Sarfaraz Khan Wark while appreciating the efforts of the team said that human traffickers involved in visa fraud will be dealt with strictly according to the law and indiscriminate action will be taken against the agents making fake travel documents.
