The first case of monkey pox was reported in Pakistan. In this regard, according to the officials of the Federal Ministry of Health, monkeypox has been confirmed in a person deported from Saudi Arabia.
Officials say that the person who came to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia on April 17 had symptoms of monkey pox.

A person infected with monkey pox is a resident of Rawalpindi or Islamabad, after the first case of monkey pox has been put on high alert at airports across the country.
According to the officials of the health department, the samples of suspected patients coming from abroad have been ordered to be sent to the National Institute of Health in Islamabad.
The Health Department has issued guidelines regarding possible monkeypox cases.
The Ministry of Health has directed to make special isolation wards in all hospitals.
