Qalat: Tribal leader Sardar Asad Shahwani was seriously injured and three of his bodyguards were killed in the firing by unknown persons in Kalat Division in Balochistan.
According to initial reports, Sardar Asad Khan Shahwani went to read Fatiha on his father’s grave in his ancestral graveyard after offering Eid prayers in Qalat Shekhridi, when unknown armed men ambushed him.
So far four people have been killed in the attack, Sardar Asad Shahwani has been hit by three bullets and his condition is said to be critical.
According to Levies, after the firing, Asad Shahwani, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital in Quetta by a private vehicle.
