The head of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Najam Aziz Sethi has said that the Pakistan Cricket Board is of a blunt position that it will not withdraw from hosting the Asia Cup 2023.
While giving a special interview in Geo News’ program ‘Score’, Chairman Management Committee said that the decision that will be taken from the Asia Cup will have an impact on the World Cup as well.
Talking to the host Syed Yahya Hussaini, Najam Sethi said that if India played the Asia Cup matches in a third country, then the hybrid model would be for Pakistan in the World Cup as well.
He said that 80% of the revenue of Asia Cup is generated from the India-Pakistan match, we have completed all the homework, the schedule has also been presented.
In response to a question about the additional expenses of the third country, he said that the Asian Cricket Council would bear it.
Najam Sethi says that there is a red line from our side, India should come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup or play in a third country.
