Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to terminate the post of head coach. The position of team director was introduced for Mickey Arthur.
Sources say that the Pakistan team will work with assistant coaches and not the head coach, Mickey Arthur will be the team director who will look after all matters.
Mickey Arthur will not be available with the Pakistan team during the English county season pending a deal.
Mickey Arthur will be with the team for World Cup 2023 and Australia tour.
PCB has decided to appoint a chief of staff for Mickey Arthur.
Islamabad United general manager Rehan-ul-Haq is likely to be appointed as the team manager, who will primarily act as Mickey Arthur’s chief of staff.
PCB will have 3 assistant coaches for batting, bowling and fielding along with Mickey Arthur.
Grant Bradburn has been appointed as fielding and assistant coach. Mickey Arthur is also likely to come to Lahore in the first week of April.
