Quetta: During the month of Ramadan, the prices of spices in the capital city of Balochistan have been increased abnormally.
According to Express News, the prices of spices have increased by 100 to 150 percent, due to which both citizens and shopkeepers seem worried.
According to market sources, garam masala is being sold at Rs 600 to Rs 1600 per kg in Quetta, while cumin has increased from Rs 800 to Rs 1600 per kg.
Apart from this, red chili has increased from Rs.600 to Rs.900 per kg, turmeric has increased from Rs.400 to Rs.600 per kg, pakora masala has increased from Rs.600 to Rs.800, yakhni masala has increased from Rs.600 to Rs.800, mix masala has increased from Rs.500 to Rs.700. Selling at Rs.
