Fasting has numerous health benefits, including increased human growth hormones (HGH) and gene changes that have positive effects on brain cells, the digestive system, and the immune system.

Fasting makes life long and pleasant and keeps diseases away. Be it getting rid of obesity or insomnia, fasting is beneficial for physical health in all aspects.

We can keep ourselves healthy by avoiding every bad addiction and choosing the following healthy foods while fasting.

Choosing vitamins for obesity

If you want to get rid of obesity, take a diet rich in vitamins. While fasting, you should eat foods rich in iron, calcium, and vitamin B-12.

However, remember to eat a light meal in Suhoor and Iftar, by doing this, the body will get a chance to clean itself throughout the day.

Avoid fried and sweet foods

If you use fried and high sugar foods in Iftar, the whole day will pass and you will be drowsy, so they should be avoided.

Adequate food

Consume protein-rich food at Suhore and only enough water to keep you from feeling thirsty throughout the day.

Arrange lemon water, curd and dates on the table.

Instead of eating chicken dishes in Suhoor, use green vegetables like cauliflower and plantains, steam them on low heat so that the vitamins are retained and you don’t complain of dehydration throughout the day.

Follow the saying of the elders that the hunger of a nawala is present in the body, it does not burden the stomach and you stay fresh during the day’s activities until the evening iftar.

Appropriate use of water

Drink plenty of drinks, milk and water along with proper diet as the evaporation from the body due to lack of water makes the body very thirsty.

So try to avoid caffeinated and soda drinks after Iftar and use healthy drinks.

Also, make it a routine to take light walks in the fresh air, this way you will avoid the negative effects of lack of oxygen on the body.
