Lahore: Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested 5 key terrorists of banned organization in major operations in view of terror concerns.
According to CTD Punjab, operations were conducted in Gujranwala, Dera Ghazi Khan, in which Abdul Muqit, Abid Waheed, Gul Zaman, Ramzan and Ikram associated with the banned organization were arrested.
Explosive materials, equipment for making suicide vests and weapons were recovered from the possession of terrorists. The arrest of the terrorists associated with the banned organization was made possible during the investigation of 33 suspects.
According to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab, 66 suspects were arrested in 420 combing operations this week. No effort will be spared to bring the evil elements involved in terrorism to justice.
