After the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League, the Team of the PSL 8 was announced.
Shaheen Afridi, the captain of Lahore Qalandars, the winning team of PSL season 8, has been appointed as the captain of the PSL team.
The team includes 5 players from Multan Sultans, 2 players from Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi, and one player each from Islamabad United and Karachi Kings.
The players include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Haris and Riley Russo.
Azam Khan, Kieran Pollard, Imad Wasim, Rashid Khan, Abbas Afridi and Ehsanullah are also included in the team.
Saim Ayub joins the team as the 12th player.
