Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan while holding a press conference after the defeat in the first eliminator by Peshawar Zalmi in Lahore said that the first 10 overs were expensive in our bowling.
He said that in the beginning of the match, our body language was not good, we made a comeback in bowling and batting, but credit goes to Peshawar Zalmi.
He said that Peshawar Zalmi bowled very well. There was also a reverse swing in the death overs, Peshawar Zalmi had good bowling options.
Shadab Khan said that the match could not come into our hands due to the fall of two wickets one after the other. We fielded a perfect team but we didn’t get what we should have done in the event.
