324 children infected with HIV died in Sindh

Among the dead children are 207 boys and 117 girls.

The Sindh Health Department has revealed that 324 children infected with HIV died in the province.

According to the Provincial Ministry of Health, 164 children infected with HIV died in the last 1 year and 324 in the last 4 years.

The health department says that 207 boys and 117 girls are among the children who died due to HIV in the last 4 years.

According to the data of the health department, the number of children infected with HIV has reached 2865 across the province, out of which 17 more children have been infected with HIV during the last 2 months.

Dr. Fatima Mir says that the main cause of death of HIV-infected children in Sindh was TB, because anemia and lack of vaccination are common in these children, and hepatitis B and C are also common in these children. .
