On the fourth day of the fourth Test match between Australia and India, Indian batsman Virat Kohli’s teammate Umesh Yadav had to leave the ground due to being oversmart.

On the fourth day of the fourth Test match to be played in Ahmedabad, the Indian team won a lead of 91 runs against Australia after scoring 571 runs for 10 wickets thanks to the centuries of Virat Kohli and Shibman Gul.

Due to Virat Kohli in the match, the Indian cricket team had to lose Umesh Yadav’s wicket when Virat Kohli reached a double century.

After scoring 180 runs, Virat Kohli called Umesh Yadav at the non-striker’s end and said, “I will play the shot, you have to take double runs.”

The Australian players mostly stood near the boundary line, Virat tried to get double runs after the shot but could not do so due to the strong fielding of the Kangaroos, however Umesh Yadav ran for the second run as per Virat’s instructions. Fell and lost the wicket.

What happened was that as soon as Kohli tried to score double runs after hitting short, Australian player Peter Handscomb on the field made a direct throw on the stumps from the side of mid-wicket and the ball went straight to the wickets, due to which Umesh Yadav was dismissed at mid-wicket and had to return to the pavilion without playing a ball.
