75 PIA pilots resigned from service in one year. According to sources from Karachi, the resignations of more than 30 pilots of the national airline have been accepted.
These sources say that among those who resigned are the pilots and first officers of Boeing 777 and Airbus A320 planes. Resignation of pilots is affecting the flight schedule.
Sources said that the pilots resigned due to alleged low salaries and unprofessional behavior of the management. 23 resigned pilots have joined Qatar Airlines, 3 Emirates Airlines and 3 private airline Sial Air.
According to sources, 7 pilots with American citizenship have approached American airlines.
Sources said that Director Safety Captain Hasnat and Chief Pilot Technical Captain Nabil Javed are also among the resigned pilots.
