People are often advised to eat almonds to improve and protect their memory, but a British university found that exercising just once a month can help preserve memory.
According to foreign media reports, scientists from University College London examined the habits of 1400 people over the age of 30.
Jamia prepared a questionnaire for people aged 36 to 69, asking questions about their daily life at the ages of 36, 43, 53, 60, 64 and 69.
When the subjects were 69 years old, volunteers took tests of their memory, attention, language and communication skills.
Based on the results of these people’s responses and ability tests, university scientists said that those who had better memory and who appeared to be relatively more active exercised one to four times a month.
Scientists said that exercise can be badminton, swimming, fitness exercise, yoga, dancing, football, jogging and even brisk walking.
It should be noted that in the previous research of the same scientists, it was revealed that exercising reduces the risk of memory problems in a person by 33%.
