According to Indian media, Sunil Gavaskar has said that if the Australian selectors have a sense of responsibility, they should resign.
He said that the Australian players are facing difficulties in India and questions should be asked from the selectors instead of the players.
Sunil Gavaskar questioned the Australian selectors that they knew that Mitchell Starc, Cameron Green and Josh Hazlewood would not be available for the team in the first and second Tests yet they were selected.
It should be noted that Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of the Test series against India.
Australian team coach Andrew Macdonald said that Josh Hazlewood is going back home and he will take part in rehab on his return home.
