PTI leader Asad Umar’s wife withdraws plea for his release.
The Lahore High Court disposed of the petition for the release of PTI leader Asad Umar on the basis of withdrawal of the petition during the hearing.
Deputy Commissioner, CCPO, IG and Jail Superintendent were made parties in the petition.
In the petition, Asad Umar’s wife had accused her husband of illegal detention.
It should be noted that Asad Umar was arrested in Lahore under Jail Bharu Movement of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
