Quetta: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s right-hand man Muhammad Khan Bhatti was arrested from Balochistan.
According to Express News, Muhammad Khan Bhatti has been arrested by Quetta Police, after which DG Anti-Corruption Punjab Sohail Zafar Chatta formed a four-member team to bring Muhammad Khan Bhatti from Quetta to Anti-Corruption Headquarters Lahore.
A case of corruption of 80 crore rupees has been registered against Muhammad Khan Bhatti, former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. Muhammad Khan Bhatti is accused of bribery in appointments and transfers and receiving huge commissions in development projects.
According to the sources, anti-corruption has already arrested Rana Iqbal, ex-executive of C&W, in the case registered against Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
