The dispute between Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Punjab government could not be resolved, Zinda Dalan left Lahore.
What will happen to those who bought expensive tickets to watch the match? Won’t the final of PSL 8 be held at Gaddafi Stadium? Will the plan to watch the finale remain the same?
Meanwhile, PCB has decided to shift the HBL PSL 8 matches to Karachi, due to which the cricket fans in Lahore were disappointed.
The PCB and the Punjab government came face to face over the dispute over the payment of security expenses.
PCB bluntly announced that it has not given any money for security since 2019 and will not give any money.
On the other hand, the caretaker government flatly refused and said that the government does not have money, PCB will have to bear these expenses itself.
On this dispute Chairman PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi contacted the Prime Minister and said that organizing the national event is the responsibility of the national institutions.
He said that if the Punjab government does not withdraw from the demand for money, they will be forced to hold the matches in Karachi.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured Najam Sethi of full cooperation on this.
