The Pakistan Cricket Board has given an ultimatum to the Punjab government regarding the transfer of Pakistan Super League matches from Punjab to Karachi.
According to the sources, the decision to give the ultimatum was taken in 2 different meetings.
Sources in this regard say that PCB has decided not to pay the expenses of Rs 45 crore, the matter was discussed in the meeting of PCB Management Committee and PSL Governing Council.
According to the sources, if the demand for expenses is not withdrawn, the PSL matches will be held in Karachi and the arrangements for transferring these matches to Karachi have also been started.
Sources say that the new schedule has also been discussed with the franchises.
According to sources, there will be talks between PCB and Punjab government today, if the demand for payment of expenses is not withdrawn by tomorrow, the matches will be held in Karachi.
Sources also say that if the Punjab government does not accept the demand, the matches of the New Zealand series will not be held in Punjab.
