All the lab tests in Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital OPD have been stopped due to which the patients are facing difficulties. Tests are not being done in Jinnah Hospital for two days.
According to the Medical Superintendent (MS) Jinnah Hospital, there was a 3-year contract with the lab testing company.
MS said that after 2 years, the company demanded a 50% increase in the fees for the tests.
He said that when the company refused to increase the test fee by 50%, the test facility was closed.
He said that they are contracting the lab tests with the new company, the series of tests will be restored soon.
MS added that tests are being done as per routine in emergency.
