After snowfall in various areas including the capital city of Balochistan, the temperature fell below the freezing point.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather is dry and cold in most of the districts of Balochistan, while the cold wave will continue in the northern districts for the next two days.
The Meteorological Department said that during the last 24 hours, the temperature in Kalat was recorded as minus 8, due to which the area has been declared as the coldest district.
Apart from this, the temperature in Quetta was recorded as minus 5 degrees Celsius and 8 degrees Celsius in Sabi.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the minimum temperature was recorded in Nokundi region of Balochistan at 0 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees in Turbat and 5 degrees in coastal areas Jiwani and 9 degrees in Gwadar.
