6 people drowned when pilgrims’ boat overturned near Umarkot, the bodies of 3 people including a girl have been recovered. The victims of the accident were returning from visiting the shrine.
According to the police, the incident took place in Kalankar Lake in Dhurunaru area when the pilgrims were returning after visiting Dargah Sehar Faqir.
Rescue work is facing difficulties due to darkness.
According to sources, the incident took place 60 km away from Umarkot, all the persons are said to belong to the same family of Kunhar village.
