The Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) has submitted a request to increase the price of electricity by Rs 1.17 paise per unit.
CPPA submitted January fuel adjustment request to Nepra.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) says the CPPA application will be heard on February 28.
Nepra says the decision on the CPPA application will not apply to electric consumers.
